Find information to help plan your next self-led school trip to the Foundling Museum.

Only one group with a maximum of 20 students may visit the Museum at one time. Please stick to your allocated time slots.

Please remember that all items and furniture on display in the galleries are part of the Museum Collection and should be treated with due care and consideration. Please do not touch or lean on any of the items or furniture on display.

Supervision

We recommend an adult to student ratio of:

  • 1:5 for under 5’s (1 adult per 5 children can visit for free)
  • 1:10 for 5-11 year-olds (1 adult per 10 children can visit for free)
  • 1:15 for 11-16 year-olds (1 adult per 15 children can visit for free)

All additional adults are charged at our concessionary price of £7.50 and can pay on arrival.

Please remember that teachers and accompanying adults are responsible for their students for the duration of their self-led visit to the Foundling Museum and all students under the age of 18 must be accompanied at all times. Please ensure that any requests from Museum staff concerning behaviour or noise levels are adhered to.
