An evening of Mozart and Brahms performed on period instruments.

The clarinet quintets by Mozart and Brahms have become two of the most celebrated chamber works of all time. In this evening event, the Bloomsbury Players and esteemed clarinettist Katherine Spencer perform these works on period instruments, bringing a fresh approach to these glorious classics. They complete this programme with two arrangements by Bill Thorp of poetic songs by Clara Schumann and Johannes Brahms. This event is part of the Vermeer spring season.

Clarinettist Katherine Spencer is joined by the Bloomsbury Players – Sijie Chen & Will McGahon (violins), John Crockatt (viola) and Orlando Jopling (cello). Tickets include after-hours entry to the Museum for one hour prior to the concert.
