Many of the items in our Collections have a direct personal connection to particular people from the past and help to bring them to life. They are things which belonged to named people that they touched and used on frequent occasions. Wear and tear on the belongings remind us that each person leaves their mark on the things they own. We find that objects have their own lives through time and change from the past to the present and into the future.
