Communications & Social Media Assistant

This is a rare opportunity for a creative person wishing to expand their communications experience, to take ownership of the Foundling story and share it internationally. You will support the day-to-day functioning of the marketing team, helping the charity to talk to new audiences and increase engagement across all touchpoints.

You will have an eye for design and exceptional writing and editing skills. With a passion for digital, you’ll be up-to-date on the latest social media and digital trends and play a key role in reinvigorating our social platforms.

We want you to develop inspiring content for our digital and social platforms and contribute creative ideas for the development of the Museum’s marketing campaigns. A keen and sincere interest in seeking new stories and content from the Museum’s programme of exhibitions and events, our Collections, and charitable work, is essential.

 

Reporting to: Marketing & Communications Managers

Employment Status: Permanent, Part-time (3 days per week to include Fridays)

Salary: £23,000 per annum, pro rata

Working pattern:  21 hours per week across 3 days. Typical hours are 10:00 – 18:00. Days will be decided with the successful candidate but must include Fridays.
