We are delighted to welcome Vanessa Hristova to the Museum for a lunchtime concert. The performance will last an hour, and is free with the price of admission or an Annual Pass.

About Young Artists’ Platform
Our Young Artists’ Platform programme showcases exceptional musicians at the start of their musical career. In partnership with Philharmonia Orchestra, the programme provides monthly recital opportunities for their Philharmonia Instrumental Fellows.
About Vanessa Hristova
Vanessa performs internationally and is a top prize winner of a number of competitions. She has taken part in festivals including the BBC Proms, and was Young Artist of the Stift International Music Festival. She has collaborated with conductors such as Vladimir Jurowski, Sir Andrew Davis, Sir Antonio Pappano, Sir Simon Rattle, and Jukka-Pekka Saraste. Vanessa has benefited from the ENO Scheme, LSO String Experience, and the Glyndebourne Sinfonia Scheme. She has recorded a CD in Abbey Road Studios as a lead viola of LGT Young Soloists. She has been mentored by the Marmen Quartet, Maxim Rysanov, Alexander Zemtsov, and Lars Anders Tomter. Vanessa studied at the Royal College of Music as an Award Holder, with Nathan Braude, Andriy Viytovych and Bryony Gibson Cornish. She is a winner of the RCM Viola Prize and the Bach Prize and has performed as principal violist of all the RCM orchestras.
