Relax with a glass of wine while you delve into the extraordinary story of the Foundling Hospital’s 18th-century tokens in an exclusive evening tour, followed by an intimate, artist-led ceramics class.
Inspired by the tokens and by our exhibition Self-Made: Reshaping Identities, you will learn introductory techniques to create handmade ceramic pieces and have the opportunity to engrave designs personal to you. The pieces you create will then be professionally glazed and kiln-fired to create a lasting memento that explores the complex relationship between craft and self-reflection.
