Dive into stop-motion animation in this creative family workshop for children aged 8-12.

Animate your own spooky stop-motion story with artist Reza Ben Gajra. Create your own magical masks, bewitching backdrops and scary scenery. Then, bring your adventure to life in a creepy collaborative animation!

There are two sessions running from 11am-1pm and 2-4pm. The workshop is suitable for 8–12 year-olds. We advise that families download the app Stop Motion Studio before the workshop, but this isn’t essential.

What’s included with my ticket?

Led by a professional artist with all materials provided, all you have to do is bring yourselves! Tickets also include free entry to the Museum so you can explore at your leisure.

Reza Ben Gajra is a London-based visual artist. Reza facilitates art and animation workshops for children, families and adults, working with major galleries and arts organisations including the Royal Opera House and Barbican.

Yes, booking is essential. We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment as our workshops often sell out.

Yes, you must book an adult ticket and a child ticket to gain entry to the workshop. Adults are welcome to also get stuck into the activities.

No, the workshops start promptly at 11am and 2pm and run for the full two hours.

No, children must be accompanied by an adult, no child can be left unattended.

Of course. If you’re attending with an older child, please feel free to bring your baby along, either held or in a pram.
