Enjoy a lunchtime recital exploring the influences and friendships of Benjamin Britten, performed by cellist Willard Carter and pianist Gorka Plada.

Willard Carter is a cellist at the Barenboim-Said Academy in Berlin. He began playing the cello at the age of 4, later studying at the Purcell School of Music, Royal College of Music and the Escuela de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid. After a special performance at Buckingham Palace in 2019, he was recognised as a Rising Star by Classical FM. He has performed internationally, including in England, Switzerland, France, Italy and Germany, and, most recently, at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival in Poland.

The performance will last an hour, and is free with the price of admission.
