There is a charge to visit the Museum. Admission tickets include entry to our permanent collection and temporary exhibition.

Book admission tickets

Your admission ticket is valid for a whole year from the date of purchase, so you can visit us as many times as you like.

You don’t need to book your tickets in advance, although we recommend doing so during busier periods to guarantee entry.

Student tickets are for anyone who is enrolled in an educational institution such as a college or university. Visitors who have bought a student ticket must bring their valid student ID with them.

Concession tickets are available for those receiving one of the following:

  • Universal Credit
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)

Frequently asked questions

If you’ve bought a ticket online, your e-ticket will be sent to you within the next 24 hours. If you can’t find your ticket, please check your junk/spam folder. If you have any problems, feel free to email us at enquiries@foundlingmuseum.org.uk.

There’s no need to print out your ticket. If you have a smartphone, you can just show us your phone screen when you arrive. We can also look you up on our system when you arrive at the Museum if you tell us the name the ticket was bought under.

Please check your spam/junk folder first if you can’t find your e-ticket. If you’ve still not received it after 24 hours, feel free to call us on +44 (0)20 7841 3600 during opening hours, or email us at enquiries@foundlingmuseum.org.uk.

Your ticket is valid for one year, so if you can’t make your booked time or date, don’t worry. You can still visit anytime during our opening hours. Please check our Visit page for any amended opening hours/dates.

We recommend booking ahead to guarantee entry, especially during busier periods. You can choose ‘Friend’ in our booking system and a ticket will be emailed to you. Don’t forget to bring proof of your membership with you on the day of your visit.

You can show your annual pass at our front desk on the day of your visit. The original ticket you received when you first booked your visit acts as your annual pass. If you can’t find this we can look your up on our system on the day of your visit, or you can email us at enquiries@foundlingmuseum.org.uk.

Yes, tickets need to be booked for children. There is an option in our online booking system for 21 & under, these tickets are free. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets at our front desk on the day of your visit.

Yes you still need a ticket to enter the Museum. We recommend booking ahead to guarantee entry, especially during busier periods. Alternatively, you can book tickets at our front desk on the day of your visit.

Our phone lines are open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 11am-5pm.

Please ensure that tickets are correct at the time of receipt, as we may not be able to rectify mistakes at a later time. The Museum reserves the right to refuse admission.
