Transform a classic paper doll into a movable, colourful collage character in this art workshop for adults aged 18–30.

In this hands-on collage workshop, reimagine the nostalgic paper doll as a character in motion. Through colour, texture and playful experimentation, you’ll create a jointed paper figure you can style, adjust and bring to life!

What to expect

Using simple collage techniques and split pins, you’ll design and build your own paper figure. Through clothing, hairstyle and accessories, we’ll explore how small details shape identity, and how movement brings a character to life.

We’ll focus on colour, texture, found materials, and expressive poses. By the end, you’ll leave with a fully assembled moving paper doll.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop welcomes:

  • Anyone ages 18-30
  • Complete beginners who are simply curious and ready to play!
  • Creative practitioners who would like to experience the tactile charm and spontaneity of collage in a new way
