Make a clay pot to keep your most valuable treasures safe.

Inspired by our exhibition Self-Made: Reshaping Identities, make a clay pot for your most valuable treasures and decorate it with symbols that represent your identity. At the end of the session you’ll get to take your piece home with you to show it off to family and friends.

This workshop will be delivered by participants from our award-winning training programme Tracing Our Tales, alongside artist Harriet Mena Hill.

There are two sessions running from 11am-1pm and 2-4pm. The workshop is suitable for 5-12 year-olds.

What’s included with my ticket?

Led by a professional artist with all materials provided, all you have to do is bring yourselves! We advise dressing for a mess as this workshop will involve the use of clay. Tickets also include free entry to the Museum so you can explore at your leisure.
