This workshop, focused on gender-affirming makeup techniques, provides a safe and inclusive space for you to explore your identity and enhance your makeup confidence and abilities in a gentle, guided group lesson.

Taught by professional beauty and SFX makeup artist Lily Parfitt, you will learn the basics of a full face plus unique specialist techniques to create fun looks perfect for any occasion.

Spaces are limited, so make sure to book a ticket to secure your spot. This workshop is open to anyone aged 18–30 and no previous experience is required. The event will last around 3 hours.

Lily Parfitt (they/she) is a London-based lesbian multidisciplinary creative and professional beauty & SFX makeup artist. With over seven years in the beauty industry, Lily’s expertise shines in editorial and avant garde makeup, drag, and special effects. They are passionate about promoting makeup education, encouraging playful experimentation, and achieving stunning looks on a budget. At the core of Lily’s work is creating an inclusive, LGBTQIA+ friendly space within the beauty community.

Apart from makeup, Lily showcases her unique maximalist fashion on social media, hosts DIY arts and crafts workshops, and has created their own handmade jewellery under their online presence Curly Femme Fashion.

Assemblage Collective is an art collective based in London specialising in hands-on creative workshops with an emphasis on experimentation and collaboration. Assemblage is currently in residence at the Foundling Museum in London where they host 10 workshops a year for young people aged 18-30, as well as offering a range of other events open to all at different venues across London.

You’ll discover a range of eye, skin and lipstick techniques through demonstrations, practice and one-to-one advice.
