Collaborative PhD Studentship: Concerts, commerce and charity in 18th-century London
Applications are invited for a fully funded AHRC collaborative PhD studentship, held at the Music Department of Royal Holloway, University of London, and The Foundling Museum, London, on the theme ‘Concerts, commerce and charity in 18th-century London’. The studentship commences in autumn 2019. Full details are here.
The student’s project will draw on material in the Gerald Coke Handel Collection at the Foundling Museum, supported by research training activities at the Music Department of Royal Holloway. The studentship is funded by the technē AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership.
The deadline for receipt of applications (including two references) is Wednesday 28th November 2018. Interviews will be held in central London on Wednesday 12th December 2018.

Reporting to: Director
Purpose of job: To be responsible for all aspects of the Museum’s marketing and communications
Employment status: Full time 35 hours per week, fixed term 12 months (maternity cover)
Commencing: February 2019 at the earliest for a handover with the outgoing Manager. We are happy to negotiate the start date if your notice period would not allow you to start in February
Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 18:00
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience
