About Esther Zaglia
Originally from Italy, Esther began studying the violin at age six, including at the Accademia di Musica di Pinerolo. In 2019 she began a Bachelor of Music at the Royal College of Music in London, followed by a Master of Performance at the RCM in 2025. Her studies were supported by the Hamilton-Stewart and BigGive Scholarships, and a scholarship from De Sono Associazione per la Musica. Esther plays with the Aida Trio, which reached the semifinals of the ROSL Annual Music Competition and attended IMS Prussia Cove masterclasses under Thomas Adès. She regularly collaborates with the London Mozart Players, has won a trial with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, and has been selected for the Philharmonia Orchestra Instrumental Fellowship Programme (2026), the Chamber Orchestra of Europe Orchestral Scheme, and the Orpheus Foundation Programme (2025–2026). She has performed in major venues including Wigmore Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.
