We are now recruiting for year two of our mentorship programme, Tracing Our Tales
Launched in October 2017, Tracing Our Tales is a ground-breaking three-year paid training and mentorship programme for care-experienced young adults, with funding from the Oak Foundation. Focused on three areas – teaching, art and life skills – the scheme aims to equip participants with the skills necessary for future employment. There is the opportunity for successful trainees to join the Museum’s workforce as workshop assistants to our artists, and for one successful trainee to join the third year of the scheme as an Artist Assistant to the workshop leader.
We are currently looking to recruit 12-15 young people onto the second year of the programme. Do you work with care-experienced young adults in any of the London boroughs and want to find out more about the recruitment process?
