We are delighted to announce that our café has reopened, managed by Leafi.
Leafi run several cafés and restaurants located at some of the most prestigious cultural venues in and around London, including The Courtauld, Whitechapel Gallery and St John’s Smiths Square. Serving delicious, seasonal home cooking, the menu includes a selection of freshly baked cakes, salads, soups and light meals – perfect for lunch with friends or an afternoon snack. A new drinks menu also includes a carefully chosen selection of wines, beers from Shoreditch-based Redchurch Brewery, a range of soft drinks, and teas and coffees, including a special Foundling blend.
Leafi source ingredients from small, local suppliers who support their beliefs in sustainability and the finest quality. Suppliers include:
Flour Station – A Camden-based award-winning bakery dedicated to raising standards of baking and bringing handmade artisan breads to a wider audience
Redchurch Brewery – An East London-based brewer y who combine wild and traditional yeasts and processes to produce a range of pale ales, india pale ales, stouts and experimental beers
Canton Tea Co – Founded in London in 2007, Canton Tea Co supply over 120 specialist teas, sourcing these direct from small, family-run farms around the world
Square Root London – Based in Hackney, Square Root London work directly with farmers to source fresh ingredients, making their juices by hand and rotating flavours with the changing seasons
The Café is open from 10:00-17:00 Tuesday to Saturday, and 11:00-17:00 on Sundays. Visit us to try out our exciting new menu or view it online now. Non Museum visitors welcome.
