This group of exceptional young musicians return to the Museum’s Young Artists’ Platform for a third year, offering a programme that includes popular works from the violin and piano repertoire.
The celebrated violinist Yehudi Menuhin was a perfect example of what Coram, Hogarth and Handel had in mind when they sought to bring together the creative arts and philanthropy. Menuhin founded his School in 1963 to provide a place for musically-gifted children from around the world to develop their talents to the highest level within a nurturing and stimulating academic environment, regardless of their social or economic background. Today, 95% of our students receive financial assistance either from the Department for Education’s Music and Dance Scheme or from the School’s supporters and benefactors through its own bursary programme.
In partnership with Yehudi Menuhin School.
