Discover the female singers for whom Handel composed with Gerald Coke Handel Collection Librarian, Katharine Hogg.

13:00 | Free with Museum admission

Handel often wrote music with specific performers in mind, to suit their individual voices and skills. Join Katharine Hogg, Librarian of the Gerald Coke Handel Collection, for a fascinating introduction to some of the women for whom Handel composed, as well as those who continued to interpret and perform his music both during and after his lifetime.

This talk complements our current Handel Gallery display, Women of Note.
