Make your own set of skittles for playing at home.
During the eighteenth century skittles was a popular game and was played by local street children, and possibly the Foundling Hospital children, with stones and rag balls. Gather together a few simple materials, follow the instructions in our latest video by Rowena Kinghorn, and get playing! A graduate from our training programme, Tracing Our Tales, also guides you through the steps.
You will need:
- Paper
- Colouring pencils
- Masking tape
- 10 x recycled bottles
- Glue or tape
