Pianist Niklas Oldemeier presents a programme of music depicting the excitement and adventure of youth, from Schumann’s Kinderszenen to Ligeti’s study The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and three scenes from Stravinsky’s lively ballet Petruskha.

On graduating in 2011, he enrolled at the Royal Academy of Music and completed the BMus and MA programmes under the tutelage of Sulamita Aronovsky. Niklas’ achievements include the Deena Shypitka Music Award, WCOM Bach Prize, and a place on the Emerging Artists Programme at the London Sinfonietta Academy, affording the opportunity to train with the world’s leading contemporary music ensemble.
