Attending scriptwriting, filmmaking and editing workshops with professional filmmakers, the group created a short documentary on the theme of identity, inspired by the Foundling Hospital story and Museum’s displays. The final film was premiered at Warner Brothers and later shown at Tate Britain as part of Loud Tate: i.d, an annual art, music and performance festival for young people aged 15-25. Part of Holborn Community Association, 1A Arts is a community arts provider delivering activities primarily for children and young people, but with ambitions to work with a much broader range of people.
