Enjoy a rare opportunity to hear the richly romantic Cello Sonata by British composer, Hubert Parry, alongside music by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by Felicity Vincent.
Felicity Vincent studied at the Royal Academy of Music before joining the Halle Orchestra. She has taken part in solo and chamber music concerts on both sides of the Atlantic, including the Chicago Fall Festival and recitals at the Salzburg Orchesterhaus and St. John’s, Smith Square. She also writes, lectures and instructs on the importance of fitness for musicians.
Oliver Davies was Piano Professor at the Royal College of Music and Head of its Department of Portraits and Performance History. His performing career has covered a wide range, from recitals and recording on early pianos to modern British premieres. A particular interest in placing music in an historical context has led to a long series of concerts based on the musical histories of great British Houses.
