Create a feast for the birds in your garden by making your own birdfeeder
Create a feast for the birds in your garden by making your own birdfeeder.
Have a go at making your own pinecone birdfeeder with this fun family activity by Christine Hooper. Turn a pine cone into a bird feeder and hang in your garden, balcony or outside your window.
You will need:
- A pinecone
- Peanut butter (unsalted if possible) or a nut free alternative e.g. soy butter/almond butter
- Bird seeds
- A butter knife
Activity needs parental supervision due to use of scissors.
