Learn how to create a plaster bust in this workshop for families.

Inspired by the busts in the Museum’s collection, learn how to create a spectacular plasterwork creation in this hands-on workshop. Start by making a wire model, then cover it with plaster to create a sculpture of your family or friends. At the end of the session, you can take your masterpiece home to show it off on the mantlepiece!

This workshop is delivered by participants of Tracing Our Tales, our award-winning training programme for care-experienced young people.

Recommended for children aged 5-12. Each workshop is 2 hours long.

But remember, art is all about getting messy; we’ll provide the aprons but you should come dressed for a mess. Tickets also include free entry to the Museum so you can explore at your leisure.
