Curated by Dr Robin Basu Roy, our spring series of Watch, Talk, Think complements Superheroes, Orphans and Origins: 125 years in Comics with two award-winning animated films about childhood resilience and courage.

My Life as a Courgette (PG) is a stop-motion comedy drama about a young boy who goes to live in a children’s home following the death of his mother. Surrounded by other children with different ways of coping with their troubled backgrounds, Courgette starts to build trust and friendship again.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session with:
