Ensemble Molière present Hidden Gems at the Foundling Museum as part of the London Handel Festival

Ensemble Molière return to the London Handel Festival and the Foundling Museum, bringing a programme of beautiful and rarely-heard collections of 18th-century French Baroque chamber music paired with its better-known counterparts.

Starting with Handel’s rarely performed Overture HWV337, discover something new with rare performances of Dandrieu’s suspenseful Italianate trio sonata and Guillemain’s virtuosic quartet.

The performance is preceded by a talk on Handel’s Will: Love and Legacy, introducing the current display in the Handel Gallery, by Katharine Hogg, the Librarian of the Gerald Coke Handel Collection at 4pm, before the concert begins at 5:30pm.

Tickets include access to the Foundling Museum’s collection.
