Our Collection tells the story of the Foundling Hospital, which continues today as the children's charity Coram. It is a story about the children who lived there, how they came to be here, how they were looked after, and how the Hospital was set up and run. It is also a story of how, right from the start, the Hospital was supported by London’s vibrant artistic community. The Collection spans the eighteenth century to the twenty-first, and enables visitors to make connections between past and present. Many of the stories and themes feel as relevant today as they ever were.
