Enjoy a lunchtime recital of works by female composers from bassoonist Angharad Thomas

Angharad Thomas performs a mixed programme of lesser known pieces for solo bassoon, composed by women, including Sally Beamish, Nicola LeFanu and Elizabeth Maconchy. A postgraduate student at the Royal Academy of Music, Angharad received a distinction in her Masters degree at New College, University of Oxford, where she also spent her undergraduate studies, achieving a first-class honours. She performs regularly as a soloist, orchestral, and chamber musician.

Our Young Artists’ Platform showcases exceptional musicians at the start of their musical career, with generous support from the Philharmonia Orchestra.
